Carrots Are In… or should I say out (of the ground)

Robert harvested the carrots last week, and it was a great hall! I’ve already cleaned 3 freezer bags full of carrots and now must decide how to store them.

I’m thinking that I might dehydrate this load, so I will go out to my favorite resource on the subject Dehydrate2Store.com to make sure I know the proper way to process the carrots before placing them in the dehydrator.

I’ve had great luck dehydrating squash, mushrooms and strawberries thanks to Tammy and her wonderful FREE website and her great collection of Youtube videos.  Be sure to check both of these resources out.

    I love dehydrate2store too! Is a wonderful website with tons of great information about the subject. I have had luck so far dehydrating veggies and fruits, thought the mushrooms were not my favorite smell! ;)
